The name
স্বরবর্ণ (Sworborno) is the Bangla word for the vowels: the eleven letters that give every Bangla word its voice. It is a fitting name for a service whose whole job is to speak Bangla well enough that a customer in Mirpur or Rampura confirms an order without noticing anything unusual about the call.
Why we built it
Most online orders in Bangladesh are paid on delivery. Fake orders, duplicate orders and half-written addresses turn into failed deliveries, and so shops put staff on the phone all day to confirm orders before they ship. The work is repetitive, it never ends, and it still gets skipped on busy days.
Sworborno makes that call automatically, in natural Bangla, from a local number, and hands the shop one line it can act on: confirmed, cancelled, or the address changed, with the reason and the recording. The parcel goes out only when the customer said yes.
How it is run
- From Dhaka. The service, and the team that builds and tunes it, are in Dhaka. Calls go out through a Bangladeshi carrier.
- Set up for each business. We configure every assistant ourselves, listen to real calls, and keep adjusting it. There is nothing to install.
- Priced by the second. You buy minutes in advance and pay for the seconds a customer is on the line. Nothing else.
Beyond the phone
The same voice can answer from your own documents: customers start a browser voice call or a chat with an assistant that replies from what you wrote, with the source shown.
